Textures, Prints, Colours.
I am very much in love with the layered look at the moment! It makes me feel so cosy and lends itself to my love of texture.
These images are from a collection of current trends put together by The Fashion Museum, Bath (formerly the Museum of Costume).
They have mixed a grouping of clothes from different era from a 1920s floral jacket to 1980s geometric print skirt and a modern pair of shoes by Topshop.
This amount of prints could look awful but by choosing colours carefully this looks works amazingly well.
This look reminds me of wallpaper peeling back to reveal past decorations and the history of the home.
